About Pyramid Valley Computers
We’ve been in business for fifty years, moving with the times as bookkeeping machines and typewriters gave way to PCs and networks. We’ve worked with schools since 1977, when teachers were first facing the challenge of using technology in the classroom. We’re still in business because of our rather revolutionary idea that technology shouldn’t actually be a challenge (you have enough of those). So we just keep providing IT that works, and people keep asking us back.
We’re still moving with the times, and in December 2007 Pyramid Valley merged with TWNSolutions. With eleven years in IT consultancy, TWNSolutions adds additional technical expertise to Pyramid Valley’s educational experience. The first new service to come out of the merger is remote network management. We can now support your network from a distance, watching out for potential problems, and resolving issues without you having to wait for us to visit.
We’ll continue to focus on providing an effective, value for money one-stop IT shop for schools in Manchester, Lancashire, Yorkshire and Cheshire. We’ve built up very good relationships with suppliers (after all, we’ve had a few years to get to know them), which means we can pass on good prices and flexible payment arrangements to the schools we work with.

In case you hadn’t guessed, we’re nowhere near Egypt.
We occupy a rather
lovely corner of Stockport, with the M60 running past our windows and the River
Mersey at our feet.
To see the valley takes some imagination, but there really
is a Pyramid - home of the Co-operative Bank, just off Junction 1 of the M60.
We
started trading as Pyramid Valley in 2000, after 40 years as D.Kipping Limited.
